El Pazo de Raxoi acogerá mañana, viernes, un Pleno extraordinario en el que la licenciada en Derecho Rebeca Domínguez tomará posesión como concelleira de Educación e Normalización Lingüística. Recogerá así el testigo del alcalde, Ángel Currás, que se ocupaba de estos departamentos antes de asumir el cargo de regidor tras la dimisión de Conde Roa.
Currás presentó esta mañana a Domínguez en una rueda de prensa en la que la nueva edila de Normalización Linguística expresó, en un perfecto castellano, su deseo de hacerlo lo mejor posible. La que será la séptima mujer en el Gobierno municipal señaló que afronta este reto con "ilusión" y "abierta a propuestas", en un marco de trabajo caracterizado "por el diálogo, el respeto y la comunicación".
Conciliación familiar
Entre los temas que tendrá que abordar de manera inmediata Domínguez están la gestión de los comedores escolares y la colaboración con los centros educativos y las ANPAS en las actividades extraescolares. Además, la concelleira afirmó que prestará una especial atención a la conciliación familiar.
Próximamente será también la encargada de la apertura de la Escola Infantil de Salgueiriños, que entrará en funcionamiento en el próximo curso escolar. El alcalde indicó al respecto que confía en que la Consellería de Traballo e Benestar le dé el visto bueno en una o dos semanas y se pueda abrir así el plazo de solicitud y matrícula.
